Building 
a Sense of Self

Hardware stores may not sound like the most exciting of places, but the one in this neighbourhood is bustling with Gen Zs! The youths here, known to Allkin’s Youth Service, have been stocking tools to spruce up the homes of a few low-income families and seniors.

Facing life challenges themselves, these youths have grown immensely ever since they started contributing to initiatives like this – like one of its participants, who transformed from being socially isolated to blossoming as a natural born leader. Shall we pop by to meet her?
